Mineral powders are different in consistency than traditional
loose powders. They offer great coverage and the correct
application is essential to natural looking make-up. Try
a little bit at a time until you get a feel for the type
of coverage you want.
Step 1
Dip the #1 Foundation Duster Brush into your powder container.
Place a small amount on a tissue or washable make-up palette.
Work the powder into the brush so that you don't see any
loose powder. (Too much powder produces a cloud of make-up
that can get into your eyes and onto your clothing).
Step 2
Apply Database Foundation in a circular motion on your face,
covering one area at a time. Reapply until you get the desired
coverage you want.
Tip - For a smoother finish,
apply more foundation to the top of your cheekbones by starting
from the side of your nose and extending to the hairline.
This will also accentuate your eyes.
Step 3
Apply powder to your neck and décolleté area
if you want to even out the skin tone and provide sun protection
to this area. Please not that you may get some make-up transferred
onto clothing if you do this, however, it will wash out.
Step 4
Apply the foundation to the entire lid area and under the
eyes with the #3 Eye Make-up Blender. Cover all veins and
darkness on the upper lid. Use just enough powder under the
eyes to cover the concealer or smooth out the skintone. Too
much powder under the eyes could accentuate fine lines.
Step 5
Using a wedge make-up sponge, blend the mineral foundation
in the T-Zone and cheek area by using downward strokes.
Your skin should look smooth and natural and is now ready
for the next step - Cheek
Enhancement Blush.
Tip - If you notice the powder
accentuating pore size, or if the make-up looks heavy and
layered in some spots, use your sponge to smooth out the
coverage and try less powder next time.
